Prospective Erasmus interns
We are ready to host motivated interns for practical stays financed by the Erasmus+ program or other sources. The internships would typically include working on various our projects with the aim to try as many methodological approaches as possible. But for already skilled and motivated students we can also find some smaller individual project. A typical internship should be planned for at least two months, longer stays are encouraged. If you are coming from the Erasmus+ included countries write to robert.tropek@gmail.com, ideally with a letter of motivation and CV attached. Coincidently, Robert used to be a departmental Erasmus coordinator which helps with arranging of formalities even with universities with which we do not have any bilateral agreement yet. Applicants out of the Erasmus+ countries should look for some other financial sources for their stay.

Prospective bachelor or master students
We are ready to supervise bachelor or master theses in any of our reseach topics, just check our Projects page. The thesis topics are usually discussed individually prospective students, based on their interests and skills, as well as our running grants. We supervise various topics in insect ecology, pollination biology, community ecology, restoration ecology and conservation biology. Theses supervised in our group can combine field sampling or already collected data processing, depending on the students’ preferences and the team needs. Prospective PhD students and Post-docs
PhD students and post-docs are generally accepted only for the funded positions, so it depends on our successful grant applications. If there is any position call, it would be announced on top of this page.
