Vincent str\u00e1vil posledn\u00edch p\u011bt let studiem kamerunsk\u00fdch mot\u00fdl\u016f z r\u016fzn\u00fdch \u00fahl\u016f, celkem se z\u00fa\u010dastnil 7 expedic na Kamerunskou horu (2 z nich s\u00e1m vedl), v ter\u00e9nu str\u00e1vil 14 m\u011bs\u00edc\u016f. B\u011bhem mnoha bezesn\u00fdch noc\u00ed a dlouh\u00fdch dn\u00ed jsme nasb\u00edrali zhruba 80 tis\u00edc denn\u00edch i no\u010dn\u00edch mot\u00fdl\u016f, z nich\u017e p\u0159es 47 tis\u00edc je zahrnuto i ve Vincentov\u011b dizertaci. Ta celkem obsahuje 8 kapitol (publikovan\u00fdch \u010dl\u00e1nk\u016f nebo manuskript\u016f v r\u016fzn\u00e9m stadiu recenzn\u00edho \u0159\u00edzen\u00ed) zm\u011b\u0159en\u00fdch na ekologii spole\u010denstev, ochranu a taxonomii mot\u00fdl\u016f. Oba oponenti, Prof. Toomas Tammaru and Dr. Thomas Merckx, hodnotili pr\u00e1ci velmi pozitivn\u011b a iniciovali zaj\u00edmavou diskuze nad n\u011bkter\u00fdmi kapitolami.
